The new issue of Edible Portland is out, and it’s a treat, as usual. They have a new feature, with video of local farmers. This month, Yamhill farmer Mike Paine of Gaining Ground Farm gets interviewed. He covers challenges in small farm financing and access to land, which is definitely the greatest limiting factor to the spread of small farms.

My only complaint about the video is that it doesn’t include Mike and Jill’s new baby, and Dalton’s future co-conspirator, Eli.
