this can only mean one thing

I walked outside this morning and noticed a line of vultures sitting on the fence near the broilers. The birder in me thought "awesome sighting!" The farmer in me thought "damn, the owl got another chicken last night."

At least the vultures are still around so nothing goes to waste... They are probably stocking up on food to prepare them for their imminent migration southward.
