I’m always excited by the arrival of fall….here in Oregon, the rains begin, and the land begins to wake up after the summer drought and dormancy. Gardens are full to bursting with produce, fruit needs to be scarfed with abandon, and those of us who try to tap into the inherent productivity of the land are racing around with a smile stuck on our face as we bask in the fruits of our season’s labors.
